OVERVIEW
To launch the new Adizero EVO SL shoe line, Adidas invited grass-roots purpose-led athletes and runners to showcase the shoe in action across social media. Chris teamed up with NYC-based runner and community leader Julia Meyers to bring that vision to life through a grounded, “daily routine” video filmed in Brooklyn. The goal was to show how the shoe supports both high-performance and everyday movement, blending style, function, and rhythm.
OBJECTIVE
Adidas wanted the campaign to reflect running as both a practice and a lifestyle — a way to connect with your body, your environment, and your routine. The piece needed to feel real, immersive, and energetic, highlighting the shoe’s design, motion, and versatility in everyday settings.
CREATIVE APPROACH
To echo the shoe’s sleek minimalism and smooth aesthetic, Chris shot the project entirely on gimbal, using New York’s warm evening light to create depth in each frame and motion that feels effortless and fluid. The final video reflects the Adizero ethos — where design, movement, and purpose align in stride.
