OVERVIEW
Extreme Performance Training (XPT) hosted an immersive high-altitude expedition in Colorado’s Crystal Peak range, designed to challenge both body and mind through breathwork, recovery, and mountain endurance. Led by renowned alpinist Jason Antin, the experience brought athletes together to train, learn, and ultimately summit one of Colorado’s iconic 14ers.

OBJECTIVE
The goal was to produce a cinematic recap video for XPT socials that authentically captured the full scope of the expedition — from keynote sessions and recovery modules to the rugged, high-alpine summit push — showcasing the power of community, preparation, and resilience.

CREATIVE APPROACH

As lead DP, Chris documented the expedition with an intimate and cinematic approach, balancing the physical grit of the ascent with the emotional and communal bond of the group. Using handheld and aerial coverage, he brought viewers along for the journey — from early training sessions to the triumphant summit bid high above the clouds.
