OVERVIEW
The Peninsula Hotel unveiled its new rooftop bar and lounge at its iconic Fifth Avenue location in New York City. Alex Lawson and Chris Foy were commissioned to capture the grand opening — an elegant evening that blended luxury, energy, and skyline views.

OBJECTIVE
The goal was to produce polished social media assets that highlighted the event’s atmosphere and the sophistication of the new rooftop space.

CREATIVE APPROACH
Using gimbal-based cinematography for smooth, refined motion, Alex and Chris showcased the event’s ambiance — from celebrity guests and curated cocktails to the floral design, live DJ, and sweeping views of Manhattan. The final edits embodied the Peninsula’s signature balance of timeless luxury and modern allure.
